What is the minimum amount to invest in investment certificates?

The minimum investment to open a new certificate is $1,000.

How often does the interest compound on my investment certificate?

Interest is compounded quarterly.

How often will I receive statements on my investment certificate investment?

Statements are sent quarterly by U.S. postal service.

Will I receive notification that my certificate is maturing? When?

A maturity notice will be sent to the primary account holder twenty (20) days before maturity.

How do I redeem my certificate?

To redeem a certificate, simply send a written, signed request by email, fax, or U.S. mail to the Foursquare Financial Solutions office, attention investment Fund.

If I redeem my certificate early, will there be a penalty?

There is a small interest penalty based on the term of investment as follows and stated by the offering circular:

  • Up to 60 days of interest for 1-year investment certificates
  • Up to 75 days of interest for 2-year investment certificates
  • Up to 90 days of interest for 3-year investment certificates
  • Up to 105 days of interest for 4-year investment certificates
  • Up to 120 days of interest for 5-year investment certificates

Is my investment certificate insured?

The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (“ICFG”) has been in existence since its beginnings in 1923, and you can be assured that Foursquare Financial Solutions Loan Fund (“FFSLF”) has organizational stability as a subsidiary of ICFG. As a non-profit religious corporation, Foursquare Financial Solutions Loan Fund is not FDIC insured; however, FFSLF’s investment portfolio is healthy. Is interest available for payment to me on a periodic basis?

The interest may be paid on a periodic basis by EFT or check. Please make sure to complete the EFT portion of the application if you desire interest to be paid to you.
